To contribute effectively to the improvement strategies for the protection and management of freshwater resources in rural and urban areas, taking into account the objectives of the fight against desertification, civil society in the North and South and local authorities have shared their thoughts here. This analysis is supplemented by evidence of innovative experiments representative of civil society, presented at workshops of the conference and proposed form of cards illustrated case.
