On Thursday 8 February 2024, GRET and the French National Research Institute for Sustainable Development (IRD) signed a framework agreement to strengthen their cooperation and better valorise their joint work.
This agreement marks 30 years of collaboration between GRET and IRD. In particular, through the Nutridev action-research programme aimed at sustainably preventing malnutrition. But also on subjects such as the promotion of agroecology or the inclusion of gender in rural development projects.
Committed to significantly contributing to the understanding of major world challenges, IRD and GRET are strengthening their cooperation by focusing on science for action and supporting societies in their transition towards fairer and more sustainable social, economic and ecological models.
