A website to explore potential new solutions to prevent malnutrition in the Sahel

Actualité

The latest news on the project entitled “Mobilising Sahelian businesses for innovative, large-scale responses to fight malnutrition” (Meriem) is now available on the meriem-nutrition.org  website.

This pilot project aims to demonstrate that business solutions can contribute to sustainably preventing malnutrition in Sahelian capitals. The approach taken by the project, which consists of supporting local businesses to develop and market quality fortified foods, makes it possible to explore potential new solutions that are sustainable, innovative and can be replicated on a large scale in the cities of Bamako, Ouagadougou and Niamey. The project results will be extensively documented and shared in order to inform reflections on the fight against malnutrition.

The meriem-nutrition.org website is available in French and English. It presents contextual elements on malnutrition in the Sahel, the main objectives of the action, articles and feedback.
