GRET has been working in Guinea since 1995, together with local authorities and civil society organisations. It is conducting several projects and technical assistance missions in diverse subject areas, notably that of agriculture and food to tackle poverty and malnutrition, which are widespread in this country, despite its enormous agricultural potential.

In order to address structural problems hampering local development in Guinea, through its partnerships, GRET also contributes to laying the bases for complementary action to inform strategic reflections with a view to greater inclusion of rural communities’ expectations.
