As part of its partnership with the Ivorian Civil Society Convention (CSCI), GRET was invited to participate in the West-African national NGO platforms’ regional workshop on Economic Partnership Agreements (EPAs).
This workshop, co-organised by the West and Central African national NGO platforms (REPAOC) in Abidjan from 14 to 16 December 2020, took place as part of the project to support strengthening of Ivorian civil society organisations’ capacities to monitor the interim EPA (iEPA) between the European Union and Côte d’Ivoire.
Laurent Levard, programme manager with GRET, attended the workshop and presented the results of the study on the opportunities and risks of the iEPA, recently produced by GRET and CSCI, to REPAOC’s member organisations, and participated in a round table on the EPAs with representatives from the General Confederation of Côte d’Ivoire Businesses (CGECI) and the Ivorian Federation of Small and Medium Enterprises (FIPME).
