GRET and its partners are exploring new dimensions of youth integration through the JADE program – (Young People as Stakeholders in the Future , financed by the French Development Agency – which aims to design and experiment with relevant and innovative ways of supporting young people in their overall integration, not only economically and professionally, but also socially, civically, environmentally and climatically.

In this context, GRET and its partners are conducting a strategic review based on their experience in the field, as well as on advances in research in these fields. The synthesis of these advances is presented in a series of fact sheets, to form a common base of knowledge and reflection on the themes of youth and integral integration. However, it is important to underline the limits of this exercise, which remains dependent on the progress of work on these subjects.

In this fact sheet, GRET examines the added value of soft skills in strengthening the process of integrating young people into society.
